Dyneon THV 220G Fluorinated terpolymer 3M-Dyneon Fluoropolymers SEALANT Dyneon™ THV Fluorothermoplastic Dyneon™ THV (a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride) provides a combination of performance advantages unmatched by any other melt processable fluorothermoplastic. Advantages include low processing temperature, ability to bond to elastomers and hydrocarbon-based plastics, flexibility and optical clarity. These combined advantages create new opportunities to make multi-layer hoses, tubing, film, sheet, seals and containers. These products are used in a variety of markets and applications such as automotive (low-permeation fuel systems), chemical processing industry, semiconductor, solar energy, polymer optical fiber and architectural and protective coatings. Dyneon™ Fluorothermoplastic THV 220G THV 220 is a fluorinated terpolymer featuring outstanding flexibility, remarkable optical clarity, good chemical resistance, and high LOI. The THV family can be bonded to elastomers and hydrocarbon based plastics. THV 220 is the most optically clear of the THV family. THV 220 can be fabricated into films and tubes which offer outstanding clarity and flexiblity, while providing the excellent chemical resistance of fluoropolymers. THV 220 is a neat resin with no additives or plasticizers and has very low outgassing. THV 220 can also be used for seals. Terpolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride. Used for seals. Provides low processing temperature, ability to bond to elastomers and hydrocarbon-based plastics, outstanding flexibility, very good optical clarity, good chemical resistance, and high LOI. Contains no additives and plasticizers. Possesses very low outgassing.
