Adhesive Laminating Agent As primers they are particularly useful for promoting paint adhesion to polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic polyolefins (TPO's). Higher chlorine content is recommended for adhesives and printing ink applications, because compatibility with other resins, pigments and additives is often required. For general packaging purposes, pressure sensitive tapes have commonly had fabric or cellophane backings. Polypropylene coated with Hardlen as a primer could be used in the manufacture of theses types of PSA tapes. Solvent soluble chlorinated polypropylene.
