It is useful in both one-part moisture cure and two-part isocyanate coatings. Metacure T-120 catalyst provides signifi cant benefi ts to the user versus other available catalysts. Specifi cally, Metacure T-120 catalyst provides: high catalytic activity excellent masterbatch stability compatibility with amine co-catalysts Features and Benefits Used in both one-part moisture cure and two-part polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and sealants. Selective for the isocyanate/polyol reaction; therefore, minimizes the isocyanate/water reaction eliminating blistering and bubble formation in the coating. Useful with all types of isocyanates: both aromatic and aliphatic. Metacure T-120 catalyst gives a faster cure profile than Metacure T-12 catalyst (dibutyltin dilaurate). Particularly useful in high humidity or oxidizing environments or where improved masterbatch stability is necessary. How to Formulate In one-part moisture cure systems, Metacure T-120 catalyst works best when added in the fi nal letdown stage. In two-part systems, Metacure T-120 catalyst should be added to the polyol resin side. In both cases, typical use levels range from 0.05–0.20 parts per hundred polyol. Organotin catalyst.
