Features and Benefits Used in both one-part moisture cure and two-part polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and sealants. Selective for the isocyanate/polyol reaction; therefore, minimizing the isocyanate/water reaction eliminating blistering and bubble formation in the coating. Useful with all types of isocyanates: both aromatic and aliphatic. Because Metacure T-125 catalyst is resistant to air oxidation, it can be masterbatched in two-part polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and sealants. Metacure T-125 catalyst affords a cure profi le similar to Metacure T-12 catalyst (dibutyl tin dilaurate). How to Formulate In one-part moisture cure systems, Metacure T-125 catalyst works best when added in the fi nal letdown stage. In two-part systems, Metacure T-125 catalyst should be added to the polyol resin side. In both cases, typical use levels range from 0.05–0.20 parts per hundred polyol.
