P 40 Resin Thermosetting two step type phenolic resin Akrochem Aminoplaste / Phenoplaste (UF, MUF) P-40 is a finely pulverized thermosetting phenolic resin of the two-step type. It has medium flow, cure and setting properties. Contains 6 to 8% hexa for crosslinking and is unmodified by any oil. P-40 is used as a hardening and a reinforcing agent for Nitrile, Nitrile-SBR blends, Hypalon, and Polybutadiene polymers. It is lighter in color than P-87 Resin.
