Rovene 4806 Styrene-butadiene rubber Ameripol Synpol-Mallard Creek Polymers Styrene copolymer >> Styrene butadiene emulsions ADHESIVE >> Water-based SEALANT ROVENE® 4806 is a new developmental polymer specifically designed to be used in two part spray adhesives for open or closed cell foams and other contact and cold seal applications. Fast breaking characteristics may allow its use in specially formulated one part spray adhesives. Cost savings, with the recommended formulation, are expected to be as high as 40% over other water based systems. ROVENE® 4806 has found applications in two part foam-to-foam, one and two part fast breaking spray up adhesives, and special contact or cold seal applications. The emulsion may require the addition of rosin acid and ester type tackifiers and rheological modifiers. Its surfactant stabilization system allows for fast breaking but still imparts the mechanical stability needed for handling, formulating and spraying. When working with ROVENE® 4806 it is important to remember that it may be tackified, thickened, and blended with other carboxylated and non-carboxylated emulsions. This flexibility allows for the formulating of a wide variety of adhesives with custom performance properties. Styrene-butadiene emulsion. Used in two part foam-to-foam, one and two part fast breaking spray up adhesives, and special contact or cold seal applications. Can be tackified, thickened, and blended with other carboxylated and non-carboxylated emulsions and rheological modifiers. Possesses a rosin acid soap emulsifier.
