It has excellent shear stability and high tolerance for fillers and pH shock. It is easily tackified and gives high peel and shear strengths in adhesives and mastics. Sprayable. ROVENE® 4823 is recommended for pressure sensitive adhesives and in blends with other emulsions for specialty adhesive applications. Extremely shear stable latex with wide versatility in formulating. Soft flexible films. The low molecular weight requires little or no external tackification for pressure sensitive properties. It may be used to blend with other emulsions to take advantage of its high tack and low tackifier demand. When working with ROVENE® 4823 it should be kept in mind that less tackifier will be required as compared to other SBR emulsions for PSA applications. In some cases you will not need any tackifier at all to achieve the desired performance properties. Styrene-butadiene rubber.
