It has excellent shear stability, tolerance for fillers, very soft and easily tackified. ROVENE® 4823L is recommended for pressure sensitive adhesives and in blends with other emulsions for specialty adhesive applications. Extremely shear stable latex with wide versatility in formulating. Soft flexible films. The low molecular weight requires little or no external tackification for pressure sensitive properties. It may be used to blend with other emulsions to take advantage of its high tack and low tackifier demand. When working with ROVENE® 4823L it should be kept in mind that less tackifier will be required as compared to other SBR emulsions for PSA applications. In some cases you will not need any tackifier at all to achieve the desired performance properties. Low molecular weight, hot polymerized SBR latex.
