Grafting on polypropylene backbone is achieved with a new processing technology. which allows to optimise the compromise between chain breakdown and grafting efficiency. Grafted maleic anhydride induces polarity to polypropylene and so outstanding adhesion properties on glass fibers and mineral fillers. The OREVAC CA 100 has been specially developped as coupling agent for glass fiber or mineral filled polypropylene.
