Acronal S 710 Acrylic BASF Acrylics/ Acrylates SEALANT ADHESIVE Acronal® S 710 is intended for the production of one-component tile adhesives that yield bonds with decidedly higher water resistance. The film-forming temperature should be reduced by adding about 5% film-forming agent, expressed in terms of the polymer dispersion. The use of a mixture of quartz flour, with an average particle size of 50 µm, and carbonate fillers leads to good water resistance of the adhesives. The open time depends on the additives (i.e. methyl cellulose ether additions). Addition of preservatives to the Acronal® S 710-based adhesives is recommended to prevent attacks by microorganisms. Their suitability must be verified by prior experiments and checked at regular intervals. Acrylic based polymer. Can be used for the production of one-component tile adhesives.
