Polybutene-1 PB 0800 1-Butene homopolymer 9003-28-5 Basell Polyolefins (PE, PP) ADHESIVE >> Hot-melt SEALANT Polybutene-1 grade PB0800 resin is an isotactic, semi-crystalline homopolymer which may be used where creep resistance, environmental stress crack resistance and elevated temperature performance are key requirements. Polybutene-1 grade PB0800 is miscible with polypropylenes due to its similar molecular structure. In blends with polyethylene, it is immiscible but easily dispersible. This grade is often used as a concentrate carrier, as a rheology modifier for other olefins, or in hot melt adhesive formulations where higher service temperature and strength is required. It has little heat stabilizer and no UV stabilization. Polybutene-1 grade PB0800 meets FDA requirements in 21 CFR 175.105 for adhesives. The value listed as Tensile Strength at Yield, ISO 527-1, -2, was tested in accordance with ISO 1184-1983E. The value listed as Tensile Strength at Break, ISO 527-1, -2, was tested in accordance with ISO 1184-1983E. The value listed as Elongation at Break, ISO 527-1, -2, was tested in accordance with ISO 1184-1983E. The value listed as Tensile Modulus, ISO 527-1, -2, was tested in accordance with ISO 1184-1983E.
