Acclaim Polyol 6300 Polyether polyol 25791-96-2 Bayer PU - Polyols >> Polyether SEALANT ADHESIVE >> Hot-melt ADHESIVE >> Solvent based Acclaim Polyol 6300 is a liquid, high performance, ultra-low monol polyether for use in polyurethane and other applications. This unique combination of characteristics is achieved using a proprietary manufacturing process utilizing a patented organo-metallic propoxylation catalyst. Acclaim Polyol 6300 is a 6,000 molecular weight triol based on propylene oxide. The terminal end-groups are predominately secondary hydroxyls and have a relatively low reactivity with isocyanates (similar to comparable conventional polyols). This polyol is acidified with a low level of phosphoric acid making it suitable for use in isocyanate-terminat-ed prepolymers. Hydrolytic Stability Microbial Resistance Low Temperature Flexibility Ease of Handling Narrow MW Distribution Low Polyol Viscosity Low Prepolymer Viscosities Ultra-low Monol Level Dramatically Improved mechanical and Dynamic Properties in Polymer Systems Acclaim Polyols have utility in a wide variety of applications including coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, epoxy flexibilizers and defoamers. Acclaim Polyol 6300 has potential utility in various application areas including: Solvent and Waterbased Coatings, High Modulus Adhesives, Cast Elastomers, Thermal Break, Electrical Potting, RIM, Inks, Lubrication, Metalworking, Antistatic Agents, Crude Oil De-emulsification and Plasticizers. Adhesives (Solvent and Hot-Melt Based) Automotive Glazing (Windshields) Film Lamination (Packaging) Structural Adhesives (Transportation) Particle Bonding (Rubber, Wood) Sealants (One and Two-Component) Construction Caulks and Sealants (Polyurethane/hybrid) Automotive (Corrosion Protection) High performance, ultra-low monol triol based on propylene oxide. Used in high modulus, solvent-based and hot-melt adhesives, and one- and two-component sealants. Offers hydrolytic stability, microbial resistance, low temperature flexibility, ease of handling, low polyol viscosity, low prepolymer viscosities and improved mechanical and dynamic properties. <br> Applications: automotive glazing (windshields), film lamination (packaging), structural adhesives (transportation), particle bonding (rubber, wood), construction caulks and sealants (polyurethane/hybrid) and automotive (corrosion protection).
