Baymod N 34.52 Acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber 9003-18-3 Bayer Plasticizers Aminoplaste & Phenoplastes (UF, MUF...) PU - Prepolymers Ethylene co-terpolymers - solid (EVA, EMA...) Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) SEALANT ADHESIVE Baymod ® N 34.52 is an NBR polymeric plasticiser. Baymod N 34.52 is a cold polymerised, linear acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer. It is ground to its powdered form. Due to its solubility e.g. in toluene and methyl ethyl ketone, it is particularly suitable for pro-cessing from solution to adhesives, seals and friction materials. Baymod N 34.52 is also suitable for modifying phenolic and melamine resins, PVC, EVA, PUR and other polar polymers. Baymod N 34.52 exhibits good resistance to oil, fuel, hydrolysis and chemicals. Baymod N 34.52 modified thermoplastics are permanently plasticised and exhibit very good, low temperature flexibility as well as good fatigue and abrasion resistance. The 'performance in use' at higher temperatures and in contact with oil or fuel is improved by Baymod N 34.52. Solutions of Baymod N 34.52 are used for example to manufacture adhesives, seals and friction materials. Cold polymerised, linear acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer. Used as a plasticizer to manufacture tape adhesives and seals. Offers compatibility with phenolic and melamine resins, PVC, EVA, PUR and other polar polymers, good resistance to oil, fuel, hydrolysis and chemicals, very good low temperature flexibility, good fatigue and abrasion resistance.
