Epalloy 8230 Epoxidized bisphenol F resin 28064-14-4 CVC Epoxide (EP) >> Phenol & Cresol (Novolacs) ADHESIVE >> Hot-melt EPALLOY ® 8230 Low Viscosity Epoxy Phenol Novolac Resin EPALLOY 8230 is a very low viscosity epoxidized Bisphe-nol F resin which combines low hydrolyzable chlorides with a high degree of reactivity and outstanding chemical resis-tance. It is non-crystallizing and compatible with all stan-dard curatives and most resin systems and solvents. EPALLOY 8230 is excellent for use in 100% solids coatings and trowelable flooring formulations where room tempera-ture cure is required. Those formulations will provide chemical resistance to concentrated acids and aggressive solvents. Its exceptionally low hydrolyzable chloride con-tent makes 8230 the preferred material for electronic appli-cations, such as, encapsulation and laminating. Blends of EPALLOY 8230 with standard Bisphenol A based epoxy resins resist crystallization and will exhibit superior proper-ties compared to conventionally diluted resins.
