Erisys EMRA-840 Adduct of a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A and a butadiene-acrylonitrile elastomer CVC Epoxide (EP) >> Bisphenol A based ADHESIVE ERISYS ® EMRA-840 Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol A Modified with a CTBN Elastomer ERISYS EMRA-840 is a high viscosity adduct of the di-glycidyl ether of Bisphenol A (DGEBA) and a butadiene-acrylonitrile (CTBN) elastomer. The elastomer improves the toughness, and impact, thermal shock and peel resis-tance of the DGEBA resin. These improvements are at-tained with little loss of thermal resistance and modulus. EMRA-840 is suggested for use as a toughener in fiber reinforced products, adhesives, molding compounds, pot-ting and encapsulating compounds and chemical resis-tant coatings. EMRA-840 can be blended with other ep-oxy resins to achieve the degree of toughening you re-quire. Molding Compounds Adhesives Impact Resistance Coatings High viscosity diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A modified with a butadiene-acrylonitrile elastomer. Used as a toughener in adhesives. Improves toughness, and impact, thermal shock and peel resistance. Reduces thermal resistance and modulus. Can be blended with other epoxy resins.
