This product is commonly used as an all purpose pigment in Building Products Applications, in Dispersions for both Leather and Textile Colorants, and in Paper and Refractory Applications. The dispersibility of BLACK PEARLS 460 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. BLACK PEARLS 460 is intermediately difficult to disperse compared to products with higher or lower structure in the regular color range. BLACK PEARLS 460 is a pelleted pigment black with a typical bulk density of 29 lbs/ft3 that can be bulk handled. It is also available in an easier to disperse powdered form as MONARCH® 460. Carbon black pigment. Used for a variety of tinting applications. Possesses intermediate dispersibility compared to products with higher or lower structure in the regular color range.
