IRGANOX B 612 can be applied in hot melt adhesives, natural and synthetic tackifiers. The blend can be used in all types of elastomers such as BR, IR, NBR, SBS, SIS, SEBS, EPDM as well as NR. IRGANOX B 612 is also recommended in styrene homo- and copolymers, polyolefins homo- and copolymers, and other organic substrates. IRGANOX B 612 can be used in combination with light stabilizers of the TINUVIN and CHIMASSORB range and costabilizers (e.g. thioethers, lactones). IRGANOX B 612 improves not only the initial color of hot melts but also the color retention after high temperature oven aging. Good viscosity stability and skinnning retention can be obtained for hot melt adhesives by adding IRGANOX B 612. In the recommended application IRGANOX B 612 provides significant advantages, such as maintenance of original melt flow, low color formation, improvement of long-term thermal stability. IRGANOX 168 - an organophosphite of low volatility and particularly resisitant to hydrolysis- protects durong processing organic polymers which are prone to oxidation. IRGANOX 565 - a hindered phenolic antioxidant - contributes synergically to the polymer's stabilization during processing and provides long-term thermal stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation during service life. Synergistic blend of an organophosphite and a hindered phenolic antioxidant. Used as a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer in hot melt adhesives. Improves initial color and color retention after high temperature oven aging. Provides good viscosity stability, skinning retention, maintenance of original melt flow and low color formation. Possesses low volatility and high resistance to hydrolysis. Can be used in combination with light stabilizers and costabilizers. Use level : 0.3-1.0%.
