Primarily, these materials are used as rheological additives and pigment suspension agents in water-borne formulations, but some grades are also used as carriers for pond/tank sealants. Suspengel products are easy to disperse thixotropic thickeners with excellent suspension properties. Strict process control assures our customers of the most consistent products on the market. Suspengel 16 is our coarsest grade of bentonite clay at 16 mesh. It’s usable as a pond liner; a sealant for waste sites; cat litter; etc. Thixotropic sodium bentonite clay. Used as rheological additive in water-borne formulations for adhesives, caulks and pond/tank sealants. Can be easily dispersed with very good suspension properties.
