Primarily, these materials are used as rheological additives and pigment suspension agents in water-borne formulations, but some grades are also used as carriers for sealants. Suspengel products are easy to disperse thixotropic thickeners with excellent suspension properties. Strict process control assures our customers of the most consistent products on the market. Suspengel 200 is a 200 mesh product, and it is therefore slightly coarser and less expensive than Suspengel 325. Its primary value is in thicker film applications such as mastics, sealants, block fillers, etc. Thixotropic sodium bentonite clay. Used as rheological additive in water-borne formulations for adhesives, caulks and in thicker film applications such as sealants and mastics. Can be easily dispersed with very good suspension properties.
