Vistrol 1265 Quaternary amine modified clay Cimbar Rheology Modifiers / Thickeners >> Organoclay ADHESIVE >> Solvent based SEALANT Vistrol products are quaternary amine modified clays that are used in solvent-borne and non-solvent applications. Since Vistrol's do not use bentonite's as the base clay they will have a lesser affect on apparent (e.g. Stormer) viscosity than quarternary amine modified bentonite clays (e.g. Organotrols), Hence, they perform well in high solids coatings, dip tank coatings, etc. They may also be used in conjunction with other types of thixotropes to provide a unique rheology and/or to improve the pigment suspension properties. VISTROL 1265 is a quaternary clay complex produced from carefully selected naturally occurring clays and high quality quaternary ammonium chloride compounds. Vistrols are a new generation of organoclays developed by the company that first produced organoclays in the 1950's. By combining nearly 50 years of production experience with newly developed technology, Cimbar has created a high performance product, which exhibits: Excellent syneresis control with low Newtonian viscosity Ease of dispersion Outstanding economy. Compatible with aliphatic and aromatic, oxygenated and polar solvent systems Vistrol 1265 - is a very fine grind, and it is likey to be the product of choice in most sealants applications. Vistrol 1265 offers excellent anti-settling properties in high-solid applications Quaternary clay complex produced from selected naturally occurring clays and quaternary ammonium chloride compounds. Used as rheology modifier in adhesives and sealants. Provides good syneresis control with low Newtonian viscosity, low shear viscosity and ease of dispersion. Offers compatibility with aliphatic and aromatic, oxygenated and polar solvent systems.
