Dehydran 520 V Vegetable Cognis Defoamers / Anti-Foaming Agents ADHESIVE DEHYDRAN® 520 V is a universal applicable antifoaming agent, which can be used for the solution of various problems in connection with the destruction or suppression of foam. DEHYDRAN® 520 V is a solvent-free, 100 % effective defoamer based on vegetable raw materials. The ingredients contained in DEHYDRAN® 520 have a biodegradability of > 90 % according to the requirements of the surfactant regulation for the washing powder and cleansing agent law. In the modified OECD-Screening Test they show a total biodegradability of > 60 %. Therefore DEHYDRAN® 520 V can be classified as «readily biodegradable». DEHYDRAN® 520 V is free of silicone, siloxane and silic acid components and therefore no negative influences are to be expected when using DEHYDRAN® 520V. Application DEHYDRAN® 520V may be used for foam suppression during manufacture, residue monomer removal and during pumping or for germ free formulation of polymer dispersions or its daughter products. Dosage 0.05 - 2 % calculated on the dispersion. Solvent-free universal applicable antifoaming agent based on vegetable raw materials. Free of silicone, siloxane and silic acid components. Used in adhesives. Use level: 0.05-2 % on the dispersion.
