DISPONIL® AAP 307 is suited for the production of polymer dispersions with excellent mechanical stability and high resistance to electrolytes. DISPONIL® AAP 307 is, furthermore, suitable as the sole non-ionic emulsifier for the production of non-ionic polymer emulsions (see also guide formulation). More often, however, its use is limited to that of a coemulsifier in combination with anionic emulsifiers such as TEXAPON® , SULFOPON® , DISPONIL® AES, DISPONIL® FES, DISPONIL® SUS or MARANIL®. Further applications: wetting agent, dispersion aid for pigments and fillers, emulsifier for ester waxes and fatty acids, latex stabilizer for post-stabilization of emulsion binders. The polymer dispersions used as wood adhesives and tile adhesives have to be stabilized by the emulsifier during polymerisation and beyond - throughout the packaging, transportation, mixing and application stages. Alkylaryl polyglycol ether. Used as co-emulsifier for the manufacture of emulsion polymers used in adhesives. Provides good mechanical stability and high resistance to electrolytes.
