DISPONIL® SMS 100 special is insoluble in water at room temperature, but can, however, be dispersed in hot water. It is based on a highly pure natural stearic acid, and is approved for use as an emulsifier in foodstuffs in a great number of countries. Application DISPONIL® SMS 100 special is used in various industrial branches as, for example an antistatic agent in polyolefines and polystyrene and can be used to create a better dispersing effect in oleophillic pigment and stabilizer mixtures.
