Foamaster S Cognis Defoamers / Anti-Foaming Agents ADHESIVE >> Water-based Foamaster ® S provides efficient defoaming performance in the manufacture and application of adhesives from synthetic latex. Recommended for defoaming of : Adhesives Foamaster® S is recommended for defoaming waterborne architectural adhesives and polymer latices. It can be added as received, or dispersed in water prior to use. One half of the normal amount is added to the pigment before grinding to suppress the formation of foam and the remainder to the "let-down" portion. In adhesives applications, 1 to 2 percent of Foamaster® S based on the weight of the latex solids is generally sufficient. Defoamer. Used in adhesives from synthetic latex. Provides efficient defoaming performance. Use level: 1.0-2.0 % based on the weight of the latex solids.
