Genamid 235 Amidoamine Cognis Crosslinking / Coupling / Curing Agents >> Amines /Amides >> amidoamine Epoxy (EP) ADHESIVE Genamid® 235 is a low viscosity amidoamine designed for reaction with liquid or solid epoxy resins. Its low viscosity and long pot life have enabled formulators to achieve high solids (90+ solids) while maintaining excellent application properties. Combine this with excellent corrosion resistance and this product is a natural where meeting VOC regulations are a must. Genamid® 235 is also suited for many civil engineering applications such as concrete primers, flooring, grouts and crack injection. Not only does Genamid® 235 have excellent compatibility with various epoxy resins, but it is also compatible with Versamid® polyamide resins, Versamine® modified amines, and Genamid® resins. This would suggest its use as a modifier to extend pot life and reduce viscosity. Product Features Low viscosity, high solids capabilities Excellent application properties (long usable pot life, flow, leveling) Excellent corrosion resistance Excellent compatibility with epoxies and other amine functional chemistries Modifier to extend pot life and reduce viscosity Short induction time (typically 30 minutes) Low viscosity amidoamine resin. Used as curing agent for solid or liquid epoxy resins. Offers good compatibility with a wide range of epoxy products. Suits for high solids formulations with low viscosity. Gives rapid cure response.
