Speziol C 18 ISO C Isostearyl alcohol 248-470-8 Cognis Solvents >> Alcohol Polyamides (PA) Polyesters PU - Prepolymers ADHESIVE >> Hot-melt ADHESIVE >> Solvent based Hotmelts (polyamide, polyester, polyurethane) Solvent based adhesives systems (polyurethane) Reactive adhesives systems (polyester, polyurethane) Packaging (paper, film & foil laminates) Automotive (auto air and oil filters, upholstered car seats, construction of sun visors) Textiles (footwear, interlining for labels and emblems) Electronic (television tubes, flexible printed circuit board, coil insulation) Furniture (high pressure laminate,e.g.kitchen cabinets) Speziol® Dimer Diols are produced by high pressure hydrogenation of dimer fatty acid methyl ester and are liquid up to -15°C. Speziol® 1,10 Decane Diol is a polyvalent alcohol with two hydroxyl groups in alpha / omega position produced by high pressure hydrogenation of sebacic acid methyl ester. Speziol® Dimer Diols and Speziol® 1,10 Decane Diol are used as raw materials in the preparation of polyester and polyurethane based adhesive products. Recommended products: Speziol®C 36/2 (Dimer diol),Speziol® C 18/2 (1,12 Hydroxystearyl Alcohol),Speziol®C 10/2 (1,10 Decane diol) Speziol® 1,10 DECANE DIOL will allow formulators to make polyester resins with good transparency The heat and hydrolysis resistance of polyurethane based adhesive system can be improved by using Speziol® 1, 10 DECANE DIOL as a raw material. Formulators will notice the good adhesion of Speziol® 1, 10 DECANE DIOL, especially in textile applications. Hydrolytic stability is increased by incorporating Speziol® DIMER DIOLS. Our naturally derived oleochemical-based specialty chemicals serve as environmentally sound, high-performance building blocks for polymers, resins, adhesives and lubricants. Many of our PMT products meet FDA regulations, making them popular choices in food packaging applications. Speziol C 18 ISO C Isostearyl alcohol Clear, saturated fatty alcohol of liquid consistency with very mild odour. Vegetable derived. Clear, saturated fatty alcohol with very mild odour. Used in the formulation of polyester and polyurethane based hotmelt, solvent-based and reactive adhesives. Increases hydrolytic stability. Applications: packaging (paper, film and foil laminates), automotive (auto air and oil filters, upholstered car seats, construction of sun visors), textiles (footwear, interlining for labels and emblems), electronic(television tubes, flexible printed circuit board, coil insulation) and furniture (high pressure laminate, e.g.kitchen cabinets).
