The blocked curing sites allow protracted storage of the prepolymer in the presence of moisture and active vulcanizing agents. Diamine-cured Adiprene BL-16 yields vulcanizates essentially equivalent to those of Adiprene L 167. These products have high tensile strength and are well suited as a vehicle for abrasion resistant coatings for fabric and rubber, and for solvent resistant adhesives.
