Ethyl Tuex Tetraethyl thiuram disulfide Crompton-Uniroyal Chemical Catalysts / Accelerators / Vulcanizing agents >> Thiuram sulfide Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) ADHESIVE Accelerator and Sulfur Donor tetraethyl thiuram disulfide Narrow curing range with normal to high levels of sulfur. Curing range broadens as sulfur is reduced. Low or sulfur free compounds are of the so-called superaging type. Its curing activation temperature is intermediate between Monex ® and Tuex ® . In natural rubber, it is moderately low. In SBR it is slightly more active than Monex. Nonstaining and nondiscoloring. Used in natural, butyl and nitrile (Paracril ® ) rubbers, steam hose and calendered air-cured sheeting. Ethyl Tuex® is a nonstaining and nondiscoloring accelerator that has a sharp curing range with normal to high sulfur levels. The use range increases as sulfur level is reduced. Low or sulfur free compounds have "super aging" characteristics. Its activation curing temperature is intermediate between Monex® and Tuex®. Used for air-cured sheeting. Nonstaining and nondiscoloring tetraethyl thiuram disulfide. Used as an accelerator and sulfur donor. Possesses sharp curing range with normal to high sulfur levels. Offers compatibility with natural, butyl and nitrile rubbers.
