Flexamine Amine Crompton-Uniroyal Chemical Antioxidants >> Amine Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) FLEXAMINE ® and FLEXAMINE G Antioxidant Blend of diarylamine-ketone reaction product (65%) and N,N’-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine (35%) A superaging antioxidant that protects natural and synthetic rubbers against deterioration from oxygen, heat and flexing fatigue. It also protects against copper or maganese initiated deterioration. Causes dark brown discoloration in vulcanizates exposed to light. Migrates during cure. Contact stains light colored compounds. Used in heavy service truck treads and carcass compounds to combat the degrading effects of heat and mechanical flexing. Also, for natural rubber wire insulation, linesmen’s blankets, gloves or other products that come in contact with copper or manganese. Blend of diarylamine-ketone reaction product and N,N’-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine. Used as a superaging antioxidant for natural and synthetic rubbers. Offers protection against deterioration from oxygen, heat, flexing fatigue, copper and maganese initiated deterioration. Gives dark brown discoloration in vulcanizates exposed to light.
