Absorbs more strongly than Benzophenone type stabilizers over much of the solar ultraviolet region. Nonextractable antiozonant. Nonstaining, but can impart a green color to clear or white colored compounds. Antiozonant for Nitrile (Paracril ® ) rubber, SBR, Polybutadiene and Neoprene. Acts as a heat resistant antioxidant for EPDM (Royalene ® ). Heat stabilizer for Epichlorohydrin polymers and co-polymers. Naugard® NBC is a nonstaining, nonextractable antiozonant for nitrile (e.g., Paracril® ), SBR, polybutadiene, and Neoprene. Heat resistant antioxidant for EPDM (e.g., Royalene®).
