Prevents resinification of the polymer during manufacturing and storage. Protects polymers against heat and oxygen degradation during processing. Nonstaining and nondiscoloring. Stabilizer of rubber at levels of 1 to 1.5 phr RHC and plastics at <0.5% in combination with phenolic antioxidants. Effective nondiscoloring and nonstaining stabilizers. Minimize gel build-up during processing. Provide unusually good properties when used in combination with amine or phenolic type antioxidants. Naugard® P is available as both liquid and 70% active powder. Nondiscoloring and nonstaining tris(mono-nonylphenyl) phosphite. Used as a stabilizer for SBR, BR, nitrile rubbers and EPDM polymers in pressure sensitive adhesives and gaskets. Prevents resinification of the polymer during manufacturing and storage.
