Can be used with peroxide curing systems. In Neoprene, tends to decrease processing safety and activates cures. Contact stains and discolors light yellowish tan, very little migration stain at the 1.0 phr level. Used in natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene, SBR, BR, nitrile (Paracril ® ) rubbers and EPDM (Royalene ® ); in applications such as tire carcasses, retreads, apex, belts, hose, seals, mechanical goods, footwear and wire. Naugard® Q is a general purpose antioxidant offering good protection against heat and oxygen. It has minimal interference with a peroxide cure. Use in natural, SBR, nitrile and EPDM.
