Used as a stabilizer for SBR, BR, nitrile (Paracril ® ) Rubbers & EPDM (Royalene ® ) polymers. Outstanding in preventing degradation during manufacturing, storage and end use processing of polymers. Nonstaining and nondiscoloring. Used in commercial polymer plants by adding latex or cement in the amount of 0.8 to 1.25 phr. When added as a compounding ingredient 1 to 1.5 phr is used. Polygard® is an effective nondiscoloring and nonstaining stabilizers. Minimize gel build-up during processing. Provides unusually good properties when used in combination with amine or phenolic type antioxidants. Polygard is available as both liquid and 70% active powder.
