This medium Mooney, ultra-fast curing polymer offers excellent low temperature properties and easy processing. The primary applications for Royalene 505 are extruded and press molded sponge, tire white sidewalls and veneers. It is used in blends with diene rubbers for ozone and weathering protection. Non-staining, ultra fast curing ethylene-propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM). Provides medium Mooney viscosity, easy processing, very good low temperature properties, resistance to oxygen, ozone and heat. Gives medium range plasticity. Can used in blends with diene rubbers (SBR and NR) for ozone and weathering protection.
