The stearate particles are ultrafine, having an average diameter in the submicron range. This product is fluid, readily pourable and thixotropic. It offers the handling and compounding advantages of a liquid, in that it can be pumped, metered or sprayed and can be readily incorporated into water-based slurries and similar systems. Established uses of Liquazinc AQ-90 Dispersion include: Lubricant/release agent in coatings for abrasive papers. Dip-applied release agent for uncured rubber slabs. Lubricant for extrusion of aluminum. Liquazinc AQ-90 dispersion can be diluted with water to any desired concentration. Addition of water should be accompanied by moderate agitation to achieve uniformity of dispersed solids. The diluted product typically retains dispersion stability.
