Cymel 412 Melamine formaldehyde Cytec Aminoplaste / Phenoplaste (UF, MUF) >> Melamine formaldehyde, MF CYMEL 412 resin is a plasticized, water-soluble, fastcuring melamine-formaldehyde resin offered as a white, free flowing powder. This single resin is intended for use in impregnating both print and overlay sheets for general purpose forming grade and solid color laminates. Laminates prepared from CYMEL 412 resin have excellent formability. A single resin can be used for print and overlay. The use of alcohol is not required for resin solution, although alcohol may be used to improve paper wet-strength. Low sensitivity to temperature during pressing. Improved craze resistance. Easier clean up. High gloss and abrasion resistance. Good dimensional stability. Plasticized, water-soluble, fast curing melamine-formaldehyde resin.
