This resin is completely dilutable in cold water. This characteristic, combined with fast cure, makes it most suitable for many binder applications. CYMEL 483 resin is recommended for any binder application requiring a fully water-soluble thermosetting melamine resin. It is also recommended to modify other water-soluble or dispersible resins to promote water resistance and hardness.
