All grade are colorless, hydrophobic and non-toxic. Color Daelim Polybutene is generally colorless, reaching no higher than 50 on APHA color scale(typically less than 10) The product remains very stable after prolonged exposure to UV light Daelim Polybutene is more stable than conventional mineral oil with APHA color. Tackiness Tackiness increases with increasing molecular weight and viscosity. Purity & Toxity Daelim Polybutene is famous for high purity, because it has no additive and very low chlorine / sulfur content. Daelim Polybutene is non-toxic. Stability to Light / Heat Daelim Polybutene is chemically stable, so it shows excellent stability to heat and UV radiation. Oxidation Stability When it is exposed to severe air conditions, Daelim Polybutene is highly resistant to air oxidation. Lubricity Daelim Polybutene that is due to high viscosity index and no residual carbon behind at high temperature, it can be used in combination with other lubricants and oils. Reacted Daelim Polybutene is highly saturated, so chemical stability is much better than that of unsaturated mineral oil. In addition, the acid value is a yardstick indicating the concentration of free fatty acid in the oil; it shows the degree of modification from ultraviolet rays, heat or oxygen. Daelim Polybutene has a very low acid value, and the low value will be maintained even when the product is stored for an extended period. However, decomposition will occur under very high temperature. Daelim Polybutene does not contain inorganic material and conductors; its own insulating property is excellent. Daelim polybutene partially replaces tackifier, so is economical.
