TEGO ® Antifoam 1104 destroys foam or prevents foam formation reliably in aqueous media and may be used for foam control in a variety of industrial applications: processing aid for water-based polymerisation of dispersions, thermoplastics and elastomers (e. g. demonomerisation) in formulating and application of polymer dispersions/latices in a multitude of other industrial application Due to the special selection of active ingredients TEGO ® Antifoam 1104 outperforms conventional organic antifoams. Separation problems known from organic antifoam do not occur with TEGO ® Antifoam 1104. As TEGO ® Antifoam 1104 is easy dispersible in water it may be applied as delivered. For specific process conditions aqueous predilutions may be recommendable. Depending on the application in question the required dosage may vary over a wide range (0.005 % - 0.2 %); suitable screening test are therefore recommended (initial dosage 0.1 %). Provides destruction of foam or prevention of foam formation in aqueous media. Use level: 0.005-0.2 %.
