The gelling temperature, compatibility with PVC and volatility from PVC film are comparable with those of DINP (VESTINOL 9). It brings about high UV and weather resistance and a substantially better cold flexibility than DOP. It is compatible in one-component PU sealing compounds. Because of these properties, WITAMOL 118 is particularly suitable for the production of flexible PVC roofing sheets, imitation leather with a dry handle and low-viscosity, readily spreadable PVC plasti-sols.
