Appeel 11D569 Modified ethylene vinyl acetate polymer DuPont Ethylene co-terpolymers - solid (EVA, EMA) >> Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, EVA ADHESIVE SEALANT Appeel® 11D569 is a modified ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer resin designed to be used as a sealing layer for lidding applications. It provides peelable seals to a variety of surfaces including polypropylene, polystyrene, and polystyrene foam and is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion or coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene resins. These resins offer higher temperature resistance, lower COF, and improved organoleptic properties as compared to our commercial lidding resins. Like the existing commercial Appeel® grades, these developmental resins heat seal to a variety of substrates. Appeel® 11D569 Temperature resistance for up to 30 min under 85°C (185°F) hot water exposure, strong bonds to PP Tandem coating with PE onto paper or foil Lidding for jelly cup, dairy, beverage, and snack packaging Modified ethylene vinyl acetate polymer. Used in extrusion and laminating adhesives and sealants. Provides a peelable seal over a broad temperature range to polypropylene, polystyrene, and polystyrene foam. Offers high temperature resistance under hot water exposure and strong bonds to PP. Applications: lidding for jelly cup, dairy, beverage, and snack packaging.
