Bynel 4109 Anhydride modified linear low density polyethylene DuPont Polyolefins (PE, PP) >> Polyethylene & derivatives SEALANT ADHESIVE Bynel® adhesive resins create a strong, interlayer bond between dissimilar materials in multilayer films, tubes and other packaging and industrial structures. Bynel® can be coextruded or extrusion coated onto a variety of structural, barrier or heat-seal materials. DuPont offers the industry's widest range of standard and custom formulations to meet a variety of high-performance adhesion needs. Bynel® Series 4100 resins are anhydride-modified linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) resins. They are available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins. Bynel® Series 4100 resins adhere to a variety of materials. They are most often used to adhere to EVOH, polyamide, PE, ionomers, and ethylene copolymers. Bynel® Series 4100 resins can be used in coextrusion processes including: blown film cast film/sheet blow molding melt and solid phase thermoforming sheet and tubing Bynel® 4109 can also be used in coextrusion coating. LLDPE resins are known for their temperature resistance, clarity and toughness. These physical properties make the Bynel® Series 4100 resins work well in applications such as: boil-in-bag structures blow molded containers in which drop strength is important bag-in-box films film where LLDPE is the heat seal layer Bynel® 4109 provides outstanding adhesion to EVOH and polyamide. Use of these adhesive resins in coextruded PE/barrier structures offers improved thermal resistance over that of ethylene vinyl acetate-based adhesive resins. Anhydride modified linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin. Used in extrusion and laminating adhesives and sealants. Provides outstanding adhesion to EVOH and polyamide. Creates a strong, interlayer bond between dissimilar materials in multilayer films, tubes and other packaging and industrial structures. Can be coextruded or extrusion coated onto a variety of structural, barrier or heat-seal materials. Offers improved thermal resistance, clarity and toughness.
