Hypalon CP 337 Chlorinated ethylene (meth) acrylic acid copolymer Dupont Dow Elastomers Polyolefins (PE, PP) >> Chlorinated ADHESIVE Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons Soluble in ketone Soluble in ester Soluble in aromatic /ketone blend Hypalon CP 337 is a chlorinated, medium viscosity, ethylene (meth) acrylic acid copolymer. This unique resin has been developed to improve adhesion to ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers. Hypalon CP 337 has demonstrated excellent adhesion characteristics when applied as a precoat for coatings and adhesives. It has also shown good performance when used as an additive to adhesive or coating formulations. An important feature of this resin is the acid functionality, which offers a number of formulation and processing advantages, such as: • Solubility in most commonly used solvents • Cure site for various curing mechanisms: – Urethane – Acrylic – Epoxy – Melamine – Azeridene Stable chlorinated ethylene (meth) acrylic acid copolymer. Used to improve adhesion to ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers. Possesses very good adhesion characteristics in precoats and good additive performance. The acid functionality allows solubility in common solvents and gives cure site for various curing mechanisms: urethane, acrylic, epoxy, melamine and azeridene.
