Neoprene 842-A Neoprene Dupont Dow Elastomers Rubber - Elastomer >> Chlorinated rubber / Chloroprene, CR ADHESIVE A medium solids, anionic, aqueous dispersion of a high-gel Neoprene polymer with rapid curing properties. It is used in treated paper, bonded fiber, dipped goods, adhesive, coatings, elasticized concrete and carpet backing applications. Storage stability is good. However, pH decreases with time, the rate depending on temperature and air exposure. This decrease is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and of alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex which are not readily measured. To keep changes at a minimum, it is recommended that inventory be kept low and that the latex be stored at temperatures between 13 (55) and 21°C (70°F) with as little contact with air as possible. Medium solids, anionic, aqueous polychloroprene dispersion used in adhesives. Provides good storage stability. pH decreases with time.
