Neoprene AF polychloroprene rubber Dupont Dow Elastomers Acrylics/ Acrylates Rubber - Elastomer >> Chlorinated rubber / Chloroprene, CR ADHESIVE >> Solvent based >> Contact adhesive Adhesives: Foam bonding, High pressure laminate Carboxylated chloroprene copolymer that provides the most rapid bond strength development and greatest hot bond strength of all DuPont Dow Elastomers Neoprenes in one-part adhesives. Primary use is in contact adhesives that require very high initial and ultimate bond strength and ability to form bonds with minimum pressure over short open assembly periods. The high cohesive strength of compounded adhesives based on Neoprene AF especially qualifies them for demanding applications such as heat-formed high pressure laminates and automotive trim attachment. Cohesive strength is derived from reaction with metal oxides, rather than from crystallization. Milling normally is required for optimum solution quality. Carboxylated chloroprene copolymer used in one-part adhesives. Can be used in contact adhesives that require very high initial and ultimate bond strength and ability to form bonds with minimum pressure over short open assembly periods.
