Primary use is in contact adhesive and mastics that require thixotropic characteristics. Neoprene AG may be used as the sole polymer or as a modifier for other polymers. The rheological characteristics of Neoprene AG are superior to those of soluble polymers for producing: spray systems with low cobwebbing and overspray; thixotropic low solids contact adhesives; and nonslumping high solids mastics. Shear energy is required for proper dispersion of Neoprene AG. Gel-containing chloroprene polymer. Can be used in contact solvent-based adhesives and mastics that require thixotropic characteristics.
