Viton A-331C Fluoroelastomer Dupont Dow Elastomers Fluoropolymers SEALANT ADHESIVE In adhesives applications, Viton forms a strong bond that can flex without failure after repeated temperature cycling and vibration. Dipolymer of hexafluoropropylene, and vinylidene fluoride plus cure chemicals and process aid Viton A-331C is an incorporated cure dipolymer designed for the injection and transfer molding of parts requiring improved demolding hot tear resistance. The moderate viscosity level of Viton A-331C also allows for satisfactory compression molding of parts. Features of Viton A-331C are: Intermediate viscosity level (when compared with related “O-ring” polymers Viton A-202C/Viton A-402C) Fully precompounded – reduced curative level – incorporated process aid Improved processing – increased mold flow – better mold release with less mold fouling – improved demolding “hot tear” Good compression set resistance Dipolymer of hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride, plus cure chemicals and processing aids. Forms a strong bond that can flex without failure after repeated temperature cycling and vibration in adhesives applications.
