Viton GBL-200 fluoroelastomer Dupont Dow Elastomers Fluoropolymers SEALANT ADHESIVE In adhesives applications, Viton forms a strong bond that can flex without failure after repeated temperature cycling and vibration. Terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, and tetrafluoroethylene, plus cure site monomer Viton GBL-200 is a general-purpose, peroxide curable fluoroelastomer exhibiting hydrocarbon fluid resistance typical of “B-family” terpolymers. It is designed for transfer and injection molding sealing devices. It has resistance to steam, acid, and aggressive engine oils. Viton GBL-200 can be blended with other peroxide curable Viton types to provide variations in processing, properties, and shrinkage. Viton GBL-200 features: Improved processibility – lower viscosity, better mold flow – faster cure rate – better mold release resistance to steam, acid, and aggressive engine oils Not recommended for applications in highly polar organic fluids. Transfer and injection molding seals Can be used to modify viscosity of other peroxide-cured Viton polymers.
