Viton GBL-900 fluoroelastomer Dupont Dow Elastomers Fluoropolymers SEALANT ADHESIVE In adhesives applications, Viton forms a strong bond that can flex without failure after repeated temperature cycling and vibration. Terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, and tetrafluoroethylene, plus cure site monomer Viton GBL-900 is a general-purpose, peroxidecurable fluoroelastomer exhibiting hydrocarbon fluid resistance. It is designed for compression molding sealing devices. It has high resistance to steam, acid, and aggressive engine oils. Viton GBL-900 can be blended with other peroxide-curable fluoroelastomers to provide variations in processing, properties, and shrinkage. Viton GBL-900 features: Improved mold release Improved physical properties – better compression set resistance – better low-temperature flexibility Similar resistance to steam, acid, and aggressive engine oils Not recommended for applications in highly polar organic fluids. Viton GBL-900 is recommended for compression and transfer molding of seals. Peroxide curable terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, and tetrafluoroethylene. Exhibits hydrocarbon fluid resistance. Designed for compression molding sealing devices. Offers high resistance to steam, acid, and aggressive engine oils. Can be blended with other peroxide-curable fluoroelastomers to provide variations in processing, properties, and shrinkage. Forms a strong bond that can flex without failure after repeated temperature cycling and vibration in adhesives applications.
