The emulsion system is composed of non-ionogenous emulsifier and polyvinyl alcohol acting as protective colloid. An aqueous white-colored dispersion with a characteristic odour. It is non-toxic, non-combustible, inexplosive, biodegradable, posing no health or hygienic hazards. The dispersion film is transparent, relatively hard and non-adhesive. Duvilax® B is used in the manufacture of glass fibres and fabrics made from them, as an basic component of finishing solutions. In paper industry it serves as an adhesive designed for the manufacture of tubes from layered paper. In housing chemistry it forms a basis for manufacture of synthetic starch. It is further used for manufacture of dispersed adhesives and sealants. Aqueous, white-colored, non-toxic, non-combustible, inexplosive, biodegradable homopolymeric polyvinyl acetate dispersion. Used in the manufacture of dispersed adhesives and sealants. Provides transparent, relatively hard and non-adhesive films. Applications: glass fibres, tubes from layered paper, synthetic starch.
